An official Health Canada notice concerns Volvo trucks. Issue: On certain trucks, the oversteer guidance feature may not work properly. As a result, in an oversteer situation, the oversteer guidance could cause the steering wheel to turn from side to side by itself. If this happens, there could be a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Volvo will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to disable the oversteer guidance feature. Published 2025-08-19.
