An official Health Canada notice concerns Volvo trucks. Issue: On certain trucks, the interior door handle cables may not have been installed properly in the door latches. As a result, the doors may not be able to be opened from inside. Safety Risk: Doors that can't be opened from inside could slow your exit from the vehicle in an emergency and increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the door latch cables. Published 2025-09-29.
