An official Health Canada notice concerns Victory - Polaris. Certain motorcycles may have been manufactured with the transmission shift drum detent roller spring installed incorrectly, and could fail to provide spring tension onto the roller assembly/shift drum. If this were to occur, there would be no shift drum detent. This could cause unintended gear shifts or return to neutral, which could result in a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect and repair if necessary. Published 2016-04-01.
