An official Health Canada notice concerns Terex Telelect - Terex. On certain aerial devices installed on utility service vehicles (to elevate personnel in order to facilitate working on overhead service lines, for tree trimming, etc.), the rod eye casting on the lower boom hydraulic lift cylinder may crack and fail. This could allow the boom to fall, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the hydraulic lift cylinder. Published 2011-12-15.

The hazard
