An official Health Canada notice concerns Subaru. On certain vehicles, if the driver assist system were to become disabled due to a brake light switch failure, the system could fail to inform the driver that the automatic braking, adaptive cruise control and pre-collision braking systems are disabled. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the driver assist system. Published 2015-06-11.
