An official Health Canada notice concerns Ski-doo - Bombardier recreational products. Certain vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 1106 - Noise Emissions. The noise level is too high under acceleration. Prolonged exposure to high noise levels could promote hearing damage leading to permanent hearing loss. Correction: Dealers will modify transmission calibration to lower top engine speed to 6200 RPM.
