An official Health Canada notice concerns Saab - General motors. On certain vehicles, the driver’s door module could short circuit and fail. An electrical short could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will test the driver’s window and door lock switches for proper operation. If the switches function correctly, a protective coating will be applied to the door module. If the switches do not function properly, the door module will be replaced. Note: This recall affects vehicles not covered by 2012-282 due to their geographic location. Published 2013-06-27.
