An official Health Canada notice concerns Polaris. Certain snowmobiles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 1201 - Snowmobile Standards. The fuel tank may not meet the drop test requirements of the standard. This could increase the risk of a fuel leak which, in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel tank. Published 2019-11-07.
