An official Health Canada notice concerns Mitsubishi fuso. On certain vehicles, the fuel filter head may have been manufactured incorrectly. This could allow a fuel tube to disconnect from the filter head, which would cause a leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the fuel filter head. Published 2012-10-26.

The hazard

On certain vehicles, the fuel filter head may have been manufactured incorrectly. This could allow a fuel tube to disconnect from the filter head, which would cause a leak.
