An official Health Canada notice concerns Mack. Issue: on certain trucks, a software problem could cause the trailer turn signal lights not to work when towing. Note: this problem would cause an error message to display on the instrument panel. Safety risk: turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: to reduce the safety risk, mack advises you to test the trailer turn signals before driving, until the recall repairs are completed.
