An official Health Canada notice concerns Ktm. Issue: _x000D_ On certain motorcycles, the wiring harness may have been routed incorrectly or may be missing protection. As a result, the wiring could melt or be damaged by contact with surrounding parts. If this happens, the engine could stall suddenly. _x000D_ _x000D_ Safety Risk: _x000D_ A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. _x000D_ _x000D_ Corrective Actions: _x000D_ KTM will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to inspect the wiring harness. If necessary, the technician will install any missing protection and re-route it. If the wiring harness is damaged, it will be replaced. Published 2024-07-09.
