An official Health Canada notice concerns Kawasaki. Issue: _x000D_ On certain side-by-side UTVs, the engine could backfire during start up and cause a vehicle fire. _x000D_ _x000D_ Safety Risk: _x000D_ A fire can create a risk of injury. _x000D_ _x000D_ Corrective Actions: _x000D_ To reduce the safety risk, Kawasaki advises not to drive your side-by-side until the recall repairs are completed. Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your side-by-side to a dealership to reprogram the engine control unit and install a wiring sub-harness. Published 2024-07-12.
