An official Health Canada notice concerns Jaguar. Certain vehicles equipped with a convertible roof fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 118 – Power-Operated Window, Partition and Roof Panel Systems. The overhead switch (which operates the convertible roof and the power windows) does not operate in the manner prescribed by the Standard. This could result in inadvertent power window activation, which could cause injury if a body part becomes trapped by a closing window. Correction: Dealers will replace the overhead roof console assembly with an updated version. Published 2013-08-06.
