An official Health Canada notice concerns Ic Bus - Navistar. On certain vehicles, the parking brake may release if the brake system's electronic control unit misinterprets signals generated from turning the ignition key more than once at a specific rate. The release of the parking brake may cause a sudden, unexpected shift in vehicle position, resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will reprogram brake system electronic control unit. Published 2011-02-14.
