An official Health Canada notice concerns Ic Bus - International motors. Issue: on certain school buses, the body panels on the side emergency door(s) may not have been attached correctly. As a result, the bus may not meet the joint strength requirements of canadian regulations, and the panels could separate in a crash. Note: this recall only affects certain school buses equipped with either a left or a right-side emergency door. Safety risk: a body joint that separates in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective actions: international motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your school bus to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, add screws to the interior joints.
