An official Health Canada notice concerns Ic Bus - Navistar. Certain school buses fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 222 – School Bus Passenger Seating and Crash Protection. A weld at the base of the barrier (between the right front seat and the entry door) may have been mislocated. As a result, the barrier may not perform as designed during a vehicle crash, which could increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the barrier frame.
