An official Health Canada notice concerns GMC - General motors. Issue: on certain vehicles, the sidewall of the tire(s) may have been damaged during manufacturing. As a result, the sidewall could fail and cause a sudden loss of air pressure. Note: this recall only affects certain cutaway chassis vehicles equipped with general grabber hts lt225/75r16e or bridgestone v-steel rib r265 lt245/75r16e tires. Safety risk: a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective actions: general motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the affected tire(s). Published 2026-03-11.
