An official Health Canada notice concerns Fleetwood RV - Rev recreation group. Issue: On certain motorhomes, the front overhead cabinet under the drop-down bed may not be properly attached. As a result, the cabinet could detach and fall on the driver and/or passenger. Note: This recall only affects motorhomes with an optional Happijac drop-down bed. Safety Risk: A cabinet that detaches and falls could create a risk of injury. Additionally, a cabinet that falls while driving could create a distraction and/or affect a driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, REV Group advises you to remove all contents from the front overhead cabinet and to inspect that the cabinet isn't starting to detach until the recall repairs are completed. REV Group will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to reinstall the front overhead cabinet with additional hardware. Published 2024-08-22.
