An official Health Canada notice concerns Fleetwood RV - Rev recreation group. On certain motorhomes, the driver and passenger front seat belt securing brackets may have been improperly installed, which could cause seat belts to be damaged over time, potentially resulting in belt failure during a crash. This could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the seat belt attachment hardware and if necessary, reinstall the seat belts using new hardware and a protective sheath on the retractor side of the belt. In addition, the seat belt webbing of the affected seats will be inspected, and will be replaced if damage has resulted from an incorrect installation. Published 2014-07-16.
