Fleetwood RV - Rev recreation group
Official notice

Last checked

An official Health Canada notice concerns Fleetwood RV - Rev recreation group. On certain motorhomes, a Propane (“LP”) gas tank regulator designed for vertical use may have been inadvertently installed instead of the specified horizontal-style regulator. The incorrect regulator has a vent located parallel with the regulator’s inlet and outlet. When installed, the vent opening faces horizontally, potentially allowing moisture to accumulate inside the regulator. Under certain temperature conditions this moisture could freeze which may result in improper operation of the regulator. If the regulator fails to operate properly, excessive pressure may build up inside of it, potentially resulting in a propane gas leak, which in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the propane gas tank regulator, and replace it if necessary. Published 2017-05-03.
