An official Health Canada notice concerns Fleetwood RV - Rev recreation group. On certain motorhomes equipped with Onan 5.5 Kilowatt EFI Generators, the external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter for the generator may be improperly secured to the underside of the motorhome chassis. If the fuel pump, fuel filter, or connected fuel lines were to detach or are jarred loose, a fuel leak may result, which in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the mounting of the generator’s external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter, and if necessary, properly secure the fuel pump's mounting bracket to the chassis frame and secure the fuel filter lines with insulated clamps, as required.
