An official Health Canada notice concerns Fleetwood. On certain motorhomes, the mechanism for the slide-out room could contact and damage the fuel filler hose. This could allow diesel fuel to leak onto the ground while refuelling the vehicle. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the slide-out mechanism turn shaft threaded fastener. Published 2012-09-10.
