An official Health Canada notice concerns Crossroads RV - Thor industries. Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110 - Tire Selection and Rims. The compliance label may contain incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and cargo carrying capacity information, by overstating the GVWR by up to 900 kg (2000 lbs). This could result in an owner overloading the trailer, which could affect trailer stability, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
