An official Health Canada notice concerns Cosco - Dorel. Certain children’s restraint systems may experience slippage of the adjustment webbing at the centre front adjuster mechanism, which can result in potential loosening of the harness system. If the harness system loosens, the resulting slack may reduce the effectiveness of the restraint system in a motor vehicle collision and thereby increase the risk of injury. Correction: Consumers are advised to call Dorel Juvenile Group’s toll-free consumer relations number at 1-866-446-2628 or email the company at to request a repair kit, which contains a non-toxic food grade lubricant to be applied onto the centre front adjuster.
