An official Health Canada notice concerns Chevrolet - General motors. On certain vehicles, an improper weld on the rear shock absorbers may lead to separation of the shock absorber tube from the shock absorber clevis bracket. If such a separation was to occur, a sudden change of vehicle handling behaviour would result that may startle drivers, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace both rear shock absorbers. Published 2014-07-02.
