An official Health Canada notice concerns Bentley. Issue: On certain vehicles, the rivets that attach the airbag deflector brackets to the front seat frames may have sharp edges. As a result, the side airbags could be damaged during deployment, and may not inflate properly in a crash. Safety Risk: An airbag that doesn't inflate properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front seats. Any sharp edges found on the airbag deflector bracket rivets will be removed. Published 2023-03-14.
