An official Health Canada notice concerns Arctic Cat - Textron. Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, the dash can display that the transmission is in park ("P") when the shifter isn't fully in the park position. A vehicle that isn't in park could move suddenly or roll away. Safety Risk: Sudden movement of the vehicle or a vehicle roll away could create the risk of a crash or an injury. Corrective Actions: Textron will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your UTV to a dealership to replace the shift sensor and shift cable bracket. To reduce the safety risk, Textron advises that you shouldn't use your UTV until the recall repairs have been completed. Published 2023-09-06.
