An official Health Canada notice concerns Cushman - Textron. Issue: On certain vehicles, the wiring for the motor and speed sensor may not be secured properly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged over time. Under certain conditions, this could cause a short circuit and the vehicle could move suddenly. Safety Risk: A vehicle that moves suddenly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Textron will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reroute the wiring for the motor and speed sensor. The dealer will also inspect the wiring for damage, and repair it as needed. To reduce the safety risk, Textron advises not to use your vehicle until the recall repairs have been completed.
