An official Health Canada notice concerns Altec industries. On certain vehicles, the digger bail pins were not hardened to the manufacturer's specifications and can develop cracks. If the pin were to fail, the digger link could separate from the digger bail allowing it to swing freely. Death or serious injury could result from being hit by a swinging auger. The hazard
