An official Health Canada notice concerns Altec industries. Issue: on certain aerial devices and digger derricks, the final-stage manufacturer's compliance label lists incorrect low tire pressure information. This could lead you to underinflate the tires and could cause poor handling and/or a tire failure. Safety risk: poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective actions: altec industries will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact altec service to inspect and, if necessary, replace the final-stage manufacturer's compliance label.
