An official NHTSA notice concerns Wartech Engineering - Brakes may not operate as intended. An air leak can cause the unintentional activation of the brakes. Reduced brake pressure can increase the distance required to stop. Either scenario increases the risk of a crash. Published 2025-10-23.
What to do now
Owners are advised not to tow their trailer until the repairs are completed. Wartech will replace the fitting, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed november 13, 2025. Owners may contact wartech's customer service at 1-734-429-2002.
