An official NHTSA notice concerns Toyota - Improperly welded second-row seat rails. Improperly welded seat rails can prevent the seat from adequately restraining an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Published 2025-10-07.
What to do now
Dealers will replace the second-row seat rails, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed december 4, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 25tb12 and 25ta12.
