An official NHTSA notice concerns Terex South Dakota - Ground fault interrupt protection. If the gfi does not function, and a tool that is plugged into the inverter has a short, the operator could receive an electrical shock, resulting in electrocution. Published 2013-03-12.
What to do now
Terex will notify owners, and dealers will add a jumper wire between the neutral and ground wire, free of charge. The recall began on april 18, 2013. Owners may contact terex at 1-605-882-4000.
