An official NHTSA notice concerns Starcraft RV - Leveling jack remote module. If the jack were to activate while the vehicle is being towed, it could result in a crash leading to property damage, injury, or death. Published 2010-01-22.
What to do now
Dealers will install a relay which will prevent the remote module from self-activating in the presence of moisture. The safety recall is expected to begin during february 2010. Owners may contact starcraft at 1-800-945-4787.
