An official NHTSA notice concerns Prevost Car - Rusted booster stud connection may fail. If the power cable electrically shorts against the frame, there would be an increased risk of a fire. Published 2015-06-05.
What to do now
Prevost will notify owners, and dealers will install a protective box over the connection to prevent the power cable from contacting the frame if it comes loose. Any cable that is corroded will be replaced, free of charge. The recall began on july 24, 2015. Owners may contact prevost customer service at 1-800-463-7738. Prevost's number for this recall is sr15-27.
