An official NHTSA notice concerns Motor Coach - Penntex alternators. This corrosion may create a short circuit between the power stud and the alternator body, which in turn could result in burning of the power stud or the power cable end. This could increase the risk of a fire. Additionally, the vehicle battery could discharge which could cause the vehicle to stall. Published 2011-11-10.
What to do now
