An official NHTSA notice concerns Mitsubishi - Air intake duct. All of the rubber cushions could crack, allowing the air intake duct to fall off of the truck increasing the risk of crash. Published 2010-03-03.
What to do now
Dealers will replace all of the air intake duct rubber cushions with components manufactured to proper specifications. This remedy will be performed free of charge. The safety recall began on february 19, 2010. Owners may contact mitsubishi fuso at 1-856-467-4500.
