An official NHTSA notice concerns Jayco - Short circuit from incorrectly routed wiring. A short circuit increases the risk of a fire. In addition, a loss of drive power, power steering, and brake system control increases the risk of a crash. Published 2024-05-01.
What to do now
Mercedes dealers will inspect the routing of the main wiring harness and correct it, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed may 14, 2024. Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
