An official NHTSA notice concerns Jaguar - Rearview camera image may not display. A rearview camera that does not display an image can reduce the driver's rear view, increasing the risk of a crash. Published 2025-01-16.
What to do now
Dealers will inspect and repair, or replace the rearview camera wiring harness, as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed march 3, 2025. A second letter is anticipated sometime in q4 2025. Owners may contact jaguar's customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is h535. This recall replaces and expands previous recall number 23v-501. Vehicles already repaired under recall 23v-501 will need to have the new remedy completed.
