An official NHTSA notice concerns Jaguar - Fuel starvation may cause vehicle stall. The fuel pump shutdown will result in the vehicle stalling. The vehicle would also lose power-assisted braking and power-assisted steering. Any of these conditions may increase the risk of a vehicle crash. Published 2015-02-18.
What to do now
Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect, and install if necessary, an additional wiring harness to the in-tank fuel pump, free of charge. The recall began march 23, 2015. Owners may contact jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is j051.
