An official NHTSA notice concerns Isuzu - Oil pressure sensor incorrectly wired. An incorrectly wired oil pressure sensor will not alert the driver to low oil pressure, possibly resulting in an engine stall and increasing the risk of a crash. Published 2022-06-17.
What to do now
Dealers will fix the engine wiring harness assembly connector in the engine oil pressure sensor, free of charge.. Owner notification letters were mailed on july 29, 2022. Owners may contact isuzu's customer service at 1-866-441-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is v2202.
