An official NHTSA notice concerns Chrysler - Head restraints may not lock. A head restraint that does not lock can result in an increased risk of injury to the seat occupant during a crash. Published 2025-07-17.
What to do now
Dealers will inspect and replace the head restraint, as necessary, free of charge. If the head restraint is not installed in a vehicle, dealers will repurchase it. Owner notification letters were mailed september 5, 2025. Owners may contact chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 21c.
