An official NHTSA notice concerns Autocar - Fuel tubes may crack and leak fuel. A high pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. Published 2021-12-09.
What to do now
Cummins will replace the fuel tubes, and install vibration isolators, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed january 28, 2022.
