What to do now
Dealers will reroute the interconnect connections to the fused terminal, replace the interconnect battery cables with higher-gauge cables, and inspect and replace the solenoid as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed november 21, 2025. Owners may contact altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is mab-3258.
