Toyota - Affected vehicles have an inappropriate design of the control circuit of the rear combination lamp and the voltage applied to the leds in the rear combination lamp could be reduced in certain circumstances. If this were to occur the rear turn signals and or the hazard warning flasher may temporarily become inoperable. If the condition is present the driver may notice the turn signal indicator rapidly flashing on the instrument panel when the turn signal switch is turned on but other road users may not realize that the rear turn signal or the hazard warning flasher have been activated potentially increasing the risk of a crash.
