An official OPSS notice concerns Optional Battery Charger Kit for Vimec Stairlift Models V64 and S10. The optional battery/charger kit installed on some V64 and S10 Vimec stairlifts has been recalled as it presents a risk of fire. It has been identified that the Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) can overheat and allow the charger to burn. Published 2023-07-14.
