An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Zummi Monaco 4-Wheel Travel System - Sold at Farmers. The stroller frame may contain faulty hinge joints on both sides of the frame. These hinge joints can fail during use, potentially causing the frame to collapse and posing a safety risk to children. Please do not attempt any repairs yourself. Important Note: The capsule and seat/bassinet that form part of the travel system unit are not affected by this recall and continue to function as intended. Published 2025-12-12.
What to do now
Check your stroller frame: Look for the PO number (4503931760) and Batch number (41/2024) on the label located on the inner side of the right arm of the frame (see images for reference). If your stroller is affected: Stop using it immediately. Bring the entire set (stroller frame, capsule, and seat/basinet unit) to any Farmers store for one of these options: 1) Replace the full set with a new set (PO & Batch), or 2) Receive a full refund for the entire set.
