An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Yamaha Adaptors. Some of these adapters have developed cracks in the plastic housing - if it were to come apart it could present a risk of electric shock. This may occur by touching the insides of the adapter. Published 2024-04-15.

Stop using the affected AC adapter immediately and disconnect the plug from the power outlet and the mixer - Musicworks NZ also requests that all dealers stop selling the products listed above immediately and isolate the stock.
