An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns “Wobbly head Dino” Greeting Card. The greeting card uses a coiled metal spring to give the design movement and interest when displayed. The spring may pose a risk if the card is used otherwise than intended, by being manipulated in a rough way, destroying it and allowing the spring to come loose. If the spring is manipulated and the looped spring end has pressure applied to it by someone’s hand or finger it could pierce the skin and become embedded. Published 2025-10-03.
