An official Product Safety NZ notice concerns Venco Direct Drive Pottery Wheel Foot pedal repair. Live parts can potentially touch the foot pedal if wires inside: - corrode as a result of moisture. - become detached from the potentiometer. - twist and break if the nut at the back of the pedal becomes loose. If live parts touch the foot pedal, using it could result in electric shock. Published 2019-11-25.
